marinheiro 352
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCCBhAt30Ko ouch - going to give the insurance guys something to do this week
khayyam 68
yikes. i guess that explains why the marinas always have such high $$ liability insurance requirements!
Fish 0
Riveria Vs Azimut - like the start of a really good joke... or just a good start

Crazyhorse 47
The fender should have been on the bow...although I doubt it would have done much.

Elliot749 28
It’s a good start. A few thousand more stink boats to go.
Priscilla II 392
karma, watched that twit rocket out of the marina and royally upset my princess. Westhaven management may be welcome for the stink pot sales berth custom but the boat handling skills match the mentalilty.
waikiore 399
Dont be harsh guys, if your stomach fell against the controls it could happen to you too... then your medallion gets caught as you try to move away. Actually the controls appeared to be working fine as they rushed out of the viaduct before more pics were taken.
Fish 0
Harsh, bad luck can strike anyone.. I was always taught that you make your own luck when yacht racing. I'm sure that applies to other on water activities. Which brand of stink pot has the 'auto-dock' feature? Isn't Volvo putting one out as part of the IPS drive system? Rivereia's run IPS dont they? chariot 243
Think we have all had moments we'd rather forget, just not quite that bad.
Fogg 427
Think we have all had moments we'd rather forget, just not quite that bad. Agreed. I can think of a few. Fortunately for me mostly in the dark with no witnesses rather than in front of 100s of spectators with smartphones! Obviously there's an investigation underway so no point speculating on the cause but I can tell you the guys involved (on the Riv) were very shaken up / gutted / shocked by what happened. Bad Kitty 252
Lot's of sanctimonious pri#*s on here showing how gracious they are, having never made a mistake or had a mechanical failure in their life before. Makes me feel like I'm part of a very special community here.
Island Time 1,235
Agreed BK. Bad luck for it to happen in front of everyone...
AJ Oliver 154
Background noise - lots of chuckles . . Not much sympathy there either.
Crazyhorse 47
True, we don't actually know what the cause was, jammed morse? Incompetence? The outcome? Higher insurance rates?
Island Time 1,235
No sympathy by many, partially because the general public sees the boating population, especially yachts and launches, as “rich pricks” We don’t even know if the owner was aboard.
