Black Panther 1,586
We bought a 12v TV from them just over a year ago. It died. Took it in. They said paperwork? I said I'm not that kind of person. They looked at their computer and said Yep you bought it here. They sent it off to be fixed under warranty. It came back. Still didn't work. Took it back this morning. They pulled out a new one and handed it to me. Nice guys to deal with .
Bad Kitty 252
If they had known how good you are with technology they may have been a little more reluctant!

Fogg 427
I’ve had that kind of experience wirh Burnsco GH plus other stores with several returns over the years - one of the benefits of their customer loyalty system (if you remember to give it to them each purchase). I’ve bought stuff in GH and had to return it / swap in BOI for example. Always ok.
Black Panther 1,586
We belong to the loyalty thing. They always remind us to use it. And every now and then we get a pressy.
philstar 61
Mike the manager at Gulf harbour is a good fella. He's always treated me really well. I've had a couple of broken winch handles replaced with minimal fuss or questions asked. Just make sure you buy things with your card ref on it and he can generally find it on the computer. erice 732
meanwhile smartmarine in westhaven has gone so whatever bursco is doing seems to be working
madyottie 82
Smart in Westhaven closed down months ago, lease expired I believe. Had a really good sale, we bought a kayak and some other stuff, like Antifoul, for under half RP
Ex Machina 365
Also a big smart marine in Hamilton where there is also a surprising number of massive tinnies and massive tow vehicles
Crazyhorse 47
Burnsco Opua did us a great deal on a new maxi RC10, bloody awesome guys and even did the chain to warp splice. Can't say the same about Caters Marine there...The least said perhaps the better.
madyottie 82
Also a big smart marine in Hamilton where there is also a surprising number of massive tinnies and massive tow vehicles There's also a burnsco just around the corner (behind countdown) which has a far better sailing range than the Smart, but seems to have less of the other stuff. That whole road seems to pretty much be boat related, although mostly the noisy type.
