Any one purchased one of the iPad chart plotters on trade me auction 1864965029 from pendragon2 , hope somewone nas need input on what they are like it has cpn and own in built nmea no areal needed or wifi

Looks a bit on the expensive side to me. Have been running Oziexplorer on a couple of Android tablets for years now, Suitable tablet costs a couple of hundred at worst, the program costs about $40, and the charts are freely available from LINZ.

Looks like an iPad tablet saies running cpn amongst other things maby it’s android

The specs say it is an Android 6 tablet but there are a lot of reports on the net that the specs for this tablet, a ZH960, are fake and that it has adware and malware apps that cannot be removed. Buyer beware. Personally I would not touch it.

A bit expensive alright!! I got one with android 7, higher specs with two sim card slots for half that price.. runs open cpn quite nicely

Thanks for that , the only thing that interested me was the fact it has its own nmea in built or that what he saies and cpn is a good nav programme and the version in there was the $300.00 version I find out , weathers turning crap ,,
