Beccara 25 Posted February 8, 2019 Share Posted February 8, 2019 For a multi story we've done Catknapp about 3 years ago now in unsheathed dynice dux sourced from Hampijan in Nelson for around $11/m for 9mm stuff. We spec'ed for creep rather than break load as the boat would have had 3mm! We got some rather nice 316 closed eye thimbles from a crowd in the AU which worked well for a Wharram. Spliced ends ourselves and did 1 extra which we got tested, 9mm is meant to be a tad under 9t break, With our eyes we tested brake at 8.3t. 3 years on and it's held up very well. If tension and creep are a concern for your rig tho I'd still stick with SS unless you like to fiddle Quote Link to post Share on other sites
