Priscilla II 414
Never seen a water jacketed electric engine before net alone two. These are listed on Trademe. https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/boats-marine/parts-accessories/engine-parts/listing-1975394870.htm?rsqid=529bfda4a48c49b89c802241c78319c9

thefreerangekiwi 0
Some boats and cars with electric propulsion use water-cooled motors.

Ed 147
The electric drive motors for the cutterhead on the waterview TBM were water cooled, 330ish KW each. There were 24 of them
Priscilla II 414
Retractable drives available also. Fascinating but looks very expensive.
waikiore 454
Have supplied conventional diesels to people who converted to electric while cruising the world, wrote glowingly of it in several magazines then realised it doesnt work other than in ideal conditions and converted back, of course no articles appeared about that! Freedom GBE 27
Submersable electric pumps (water cooled) are the norm for a long time.
marinheiro 362
Electric motors give off a lot of heat while running. Water cooling is a necessity if there is not a good flow of air. Same reason a lot of generators are water cooled. The trademe listing looks like an expensive experiment
