nolipoli 0
I’ve always disliked the way my traveller cuts the cockpit of my Ross830 in two, so I decided to fix it. I realized that the mainsheet is actually limited by the safety lines and not the car position, so I could get away with a shorter one. That opened up a great solution. Priscilla II 410
Well done. For those who have a bit of coin the Barton removable traveller.
nolipoli 0
I saw those Barton ones when I was looking for a solution, but it was way out of my budget. This one cost no more than $500 including the new block. (and a bunch of time)
ScottiE 174
nice - I can see me loosing a bit of skin off my shins on that aft bracket in a blow. Maybe I'm just a clumsy bugger!
nolipoli 0
I might 3D print a cover for it to protect the shins... nice - I can see me loosing a bit of skin off my shins on that aft bracket in a blow. Maybe I'm just a clumsy bugger!
Kaihe Atamai 2
Very nice - always something desired when I had Revo Blues. Only drawback I could see is that you lose the chance to use the extra traveler length for flattening the main in heavy wind, or vang sheeting type downwind sailing. The 830 being a big planing dinghy in heavy winds!
