Priscilla II 392
Hate to think what it costs, build a plywood knock off in the backyard and wack it on a trailer voila no marina fees. https://www.pogostructures.com/en/fiche-bateau/loxo-32/
whitepointer 34
Ray Beale has a similar design, which I think looks better aswell
Steve Pope 243
Gary Underwood has designed another, in a similar vein, an example is being built at Ngunguru. Not sure about trailerable though, but probably could be.
Priscilla II 392
Aren’t all Underwoods home builds. This one was a home wrecker.

Steve Pope 243
Just for interests sake is that a yard in Ngunguru or a home build? It is a home build, Gary designed it for the builder.
Black Panther 1,584
We were invited for a cup of tea on Mason Bay a month or so back. Nice guy with good thought processes
waikiore 399
Re the Loxo 32, there is already a NZ version, used for commuting between Waiheke and the Barrier, goes a bit faster than the french one as outboard powered
Fujo 3
One of these would be pretty much ideal for my future boating around the inner gulf now I've sold our yacht. Do you have any more details on the boat and designer.

I spoke to the crane driver in charge of that (almost put my foot in it, saying something about that screw up with the boat...) Must always remember to not make off handed comments on construction sites... Boat was heavier than they thought, but that wasn't the problem, a strong wind gust did it. I think it was one of those downdraft events the media often refer to as a tornado. They were lifting the boat into the back yard of the house to the left. The house that got munted was the neighbours, who had nothing to do with anything... Edit, it was going to the back yard of the same section the crane was sat on (grey roof). I think you can see timbers for it to sit on there.
Black Panther 1,584
Bugger. I quite like Gary's boats
waikiore 399
Dont worry house fixed and that boat (Bootstrap no 2) has been cruising under power for a few years.
waikiore 399
The Loxo is very buildable in ply, Garys one in Ngunguru is much more about living aboard and cruising very economically ie slowly.
