marinheiro 352
There's a Chinese guy in Te Atatu who is quite good at fixing that sort of gear, http://www.efrontier.co.nz/estore/index.php?currency=NZD
Black Panther 1,586
Thanks, I'll try that when I get back to whangaparaoa
Fish 0
Yes, I've used him, very good and knowledgable. Unfortunately I wasn't able to actually work out what his name was. He was recommended to us by Richard Macalister at Kiwi Yachting when we had a problem with our nexus gear. He actually fixed our course controller...

I’ve used him to fix some old end-of-life Raymarine kit a few years ago. When L&B gave me the “too old to fix but we can sell you new” line. Most of the marine electronics folks will replace components at best but this guy isolates and fixes issues at circuit board level.
Fogg 427
I think these are still his details but disclaimer: I haven’t contacted him for a few years so if these turn out to be incorrect don’t blame me! Name (I think): “York” 104 Roberts Road Te Atatu Auckland 09 835 2128 027 231 6288

Black Panther 1,586
Got to be worth a try. Plan b was live without it until I get around to replacing the whole lot.
