Kevin McCready 83
Yesterday I took my compass from the grab bag to use it. It was stuck and a great big bubble prevented the card from rotating. I shook it a few times and it was still stuck. This morning I picked it up again to research the problem and the big bubble has broken into smaller bubbles and it works again. I really don't want to be stuck at sea without a working compass. And my father in law's old handheld marine compass from the 1930s is still working so I'm a bit miffed. Though of course the plastimo is heaps more accurate in getting a bearing.
