You used to be able to get an permit if you had ample fresh water supply to clean down your chain/anchor. chariot 242 Posted November 30, 2022 Share Posted November 30, 2022 I was talking to a couple of guys a few months back who were diving in Whitianga marina to see if the any of the weed had been transported into Whitianga. I mentioned that it would have arrived at the Mercs from the Barrier by means of wind and currents. They agreed with me but said they are still going to try and stop the spread. Good luck with that.
