ex Elly 265
Thinking of getting a GoodNature trap with "chirp" so it notifies my phone every time it kills a rat... https://goodnature.co.nz/pages/chirp
waikiore 486
Ah but were they stoats? When DOC let the local gun club go over there a couple of years back to cull Pukekos with their bullets , they accidently shot a number of protected and rare natives!! DoT 31
Interesting if true. I've walked over Rangitoto a fair bit over the last two years and never seen one. And the undergrowth on the island is flourishing, which would be at odds with any significant wallaby population.
