Predicted weather,swell etc. Help please.

Pleased to hear :)

There was a 20knot NW today that was no where in any model.

We were anchored out the top of Waiheke at Owhiti Bay it came through about midday, first as a swell which was hitting us beam on with the SW wind and then the wind followed about 30mins later.  We moved.  It was back to a SW by the time we got round the NE of Waiheke... 

You obviously didn't hit that?   Must of been isolated to the middle of the gulf.

Very local I’d say. No respite from the SW at the western end of Waiheke.

Great Merc was similar yesterday.
