Westhaven now on charging for water

Recommended Posts

Be interesting to see how they would charge each individual vessel as most share a common tap. Gin palace pumps 500lts onboard ,yacht 40lts Some official going to attach a meter every time a berth holder uses water??

Opened the piller tonight and had a look at the meter.  A unit is a cubic-meter, so 1000L - there's no way we have used 400L washing sheet shackles :-) :-)

The single hose on our piller, which the neighbours own and I periodically use, was attached to our tap, so probably they used 396L out of our tap  :-) :-) (I don't care in the slightest about the $1.53...)

So that would explain my 400L usage - good to know how a unit is measured - I must of missed the notification that they started charging.
