waikiore 477
Second squaddy winter race yesterday , and we have 62 year old designs having top close racing (the Stewarts) and a mixed bag of classics from Townson 32 to the big old gaffers and Tonnant? Where are all the young 88's , I could only see two - a pretty dismal showing from possibly the biggest one design racing class in Auckland? Unless I am mistaken the lead Stewart was sailed home by a gentleman who by any stretch of the imagination could not by called a spring chicken - gives all of us young fellas hope and encouragement. CarpeDiem 527
Squadron dropped the y88 div Q this winter series. The 88s had w/l's out of bucks today. Richmond racing had a great view of them on the leg from N.leading to Motukorea. I would like to think they knew we were coming through and had purposely dropped the top gate markers 50m off the Richmond rumb line, but I think it was good luck... Weren't you out today? Pretty dismal showing on your part 😛
Psyche 795
He was too busy monitoring the start line 🤣

Psyche 795
Obviously I am biased but the S34 racing is fantastic, the first 5 boats are separated by 2 points.
waikiore 477
Yes and in the 90's we had big fleets of 88s racing in what is now light C division, does this mean many have drifted east to Bucks ?
