I'm looking to kickstart a career as a deckhand/ seafarer by gaining experience onboard a vessel in NZ. I have already obtained the following qualifications; -RYA Day skipper theory -RYA Tender operator + level 2 -RYA VHF (SRC) -STCW 10 -ENG1 Medical As for experience, as a young boy my Dad owned a 20m sailing vessel which we would use in the summer months. Im prepping my yacht for solo-sailing and having someone as deck-hand would facilitate it. My yacht is an old school Pacific 38 and the idea for now is for day sailings for training.
