Jasetheace02 9
Would anyone have some advice on a repair for my rudder blade? Would prefer to just repair the few areas of damage and not have to do the whole blade? Cheers.
aardvarkash10 954
sand the entire blade for repainting. sand a 50mm perimeter around each area of damage to remove the paint and feather it in. fill if required then glass over the sanded area, feather it in. touch up with sealant on the bare areas, then two coats of your approved undercoat and a top coat or two.
alibaba 76
I'd give the damaged area in pic 1 as much time to dry out as possible. Surface tension and plywood suck water in for quite a distance through the wood microtubes. Then diluted epoxy to soak in and then as for aardvarkash.
