Experienced skipper wanted for powercat delivery - Motueka to Auckland

Recommended Posts

I've recently purchased a steel hull powercat, which is currently moored in Motueka, NZ.  I'm looking for an experienced skipper to guide the delivery to Auckland.

Some details:
  • Length: 13m
  • Beam: 7m
  • Engines:  Twin inboard 120hp Ford diesel engines
  • Fuel capacity:  1200 liters, split between two tanks - 600l per tank/engine
  • The vessel is around 40 years old
  • Photo attached

The boat is fully operational, but her surveyed operating limits are "enclosed waters".
I had her survey certificate updated in June as part of my pre-purchase assessment, so I know she's in good condition.

PM me for any further detail.

It’s doable but you would need to be prepared to hop from harbour to harbour on nice days,

First big leg to Napier would need a big high, then pick your way north in light westerlies.

Need to go very soon or wait for summer would be my suggestion

Hi Jon m,

Give me a buzz re delivery of vessel & details. I’ve done a few deliveries from Picton to Auckland & hundreds all over the world.

I own & operate a 60ft charter power catamaran out of Auckland viaduct.
