BEACHING LEGS

Recommended Posts

I am looking for someone who has experience in installing beaching legs that may give me tips on how to put on my 28ft 1948 Keeler. I have a tidal mooring in Little Shoal bay but on mooring further out by Hinemoa boat ramp for the time being.

Thank you in advance

Agreed HT, but I read this as he wants to keep the boat on the tidal morning permanently, and the ‘further out’ mooring is until the beach legs are sorted? Is that the plan Finns?
Are you hoping to have the boat naturally  sit on the legs between every tide?

Think was on TM and sold as a potential liveaboard.Even if just to keep upright at low tide may still be an issue,I remember moorings in the Ngataranga bay area were to be charged a fee, even though they dried out

Many a good solid vessel that has been let go or little maintaince.Has ended up as fire wood or the tip. So many dreamers see a cheap vessel and think YES i can do it. reality no they cant.As you said your pension does cover it .
