k88 9 Posted July 24, 2025 Share Posted July 24, 2025 As my motor and sail drive is newly installed, I wonder if it would be a good idea to put a strainer/filter between the raw water pump outlet and the inlet to the heat exchanger to prevent bits of rubber from entering the heat exchanger, should the impeller break down (as they do) as a precaution?
