I have extensive maritime experience, having worked as a skipper for many years in the Mediterranean Sea — including Spain, France and italy — as well as in the Canary Islands, where I was based for 20 years. During that period, I also worked as a scuba diving instructor, further strengthening my knowledge of the sea and vessel handling. Since moving to New Zealand, I have continued working actively as a skipper and part of diferent crew menber. I have completed several coastal deliveries, including routes from Auckland to Wellington and Bay od ilands and I have been part of racing crews in Auckland for the last two years. In addition to coastal deliveries, I also have offshore experience. I have completed three deliveries to Fiji — two from New Zealand to Fiji and one from Fiji back to New Zealand.
