Island Time 1,347
I thought it was pretty cool, went aboard Rainbow 11 and some others, and the dinghy hall sure bought back some memories!

Frank 225
Helped a mate get his boat there and back from Shelly park, the show was cool good crowds and a great vibe, particularly amongst the boat owners.
Jonquil 548
I didn't see a lot of Spencers there. A Jollyboat and a Firebug but no Cherub or Javelin and forgive me if I'm wrong but not a single Spencer keelboat? I know, talking to a mate, that some boats bailed because of the weather during the week My pick of the keelboats was Ida in the classics and that lovely Townson 26
chippie 6
Absolutely wonderful to see all those amazingly restored and interesting boats! Is it an annual event? There was one Cherub, that Townson 26 was my pick too, and launchwise, David Barker's"Feather".

He was getting some comments that Feather was fiberglass, people thinking it was one of the recreations. But yeah a lovely boat. Rolling like a bitch though tied side-on to the harbour slop. I know he built it super light and the 80hp on the stern weight is high up.
waikiore 522
A great biannual show, I went on the murky but fine Friday evening, unfortunately a few boats didnt make it but the display was marvelous, I only missed the models not realizing they were upstairs. The Townson 26 looked great particularly set against the ' Couta' boat whose owner must have really wanted a launch -not like the ones I have seen racing in Melbourne which are much closer to our L class mullets. There appeared to be more people around than the Boat Show a week prior!
