Wanted - mainsail

Hadn't seen that one but you are quite right. Can't quite figure that out - must be an orphan of some kind. The class rules state only dacron for the mains (not that we are racing in class most of the time).

Pretty tired though, I would much rather have your one. :thumbup:

No real idea what the sail measurements are sorry. Never needed to except for the PHRF Cert but I just made all those numbers up on the fly.

No wonder the whole class thing has got away on you a bit. :roll:

The measurements are irrelevant, it is a Performance based system as the name suggest..... isn't it? {laughing to expected to stop mid 2051}

A 930 mast is 12mts so I'm guessing the luff is 10.5-10.8mts there abouts.

This is the old SL main in the middle of the photo. It has some patches in the kelvar as it got damaged when the rig fell down and rig and sails were replaced under insurance.

Recutting mains is uneconomic generally unless you are basically lopping it off at a reef point. By the time you've shifted/rebuilt reef points/batten pockets etc you've basically built half a new sail.

Recutting luff round from a lot to a little is pretty easy - done heaps of them 8)

Started doing this sort of thing in 1977.........
