col j 0 Posted July 19, 2011 Share Posted July 19, 2011 well its not really encouraging, we just want to see what happens. brad has mh gear on the over draft but will only put it up in variable 5 or less. if we were to do it, we would get caught out in a 30 knot squall and start mining i imagine (provided the top of the mast doesnt fall over (rather small up there). so it really just experimental. Atom Ant 0 Posted July 19, 2011 Share Posted July 19, 2011 That is a nice gennaker! I had it made when I owned Aqua Vitae. Can propel those SR's at a good rate of knots when the breeze gets up a bit. Was also quite good at going almost upwind in the very light. And the prod it was made to fit is for sale by Motorboat. So buy them both, simply bolt on to your SR and go have fun!
