I've just discovered the Signal K sever option in the CerboGX. I spent a lot of time playing around with it on this holiday as there was a lot of downtime due to the weather. There is an amazing amount of info available (250+ data feeds for my boat) as it has the NMEA2000 info + all the Victron info. Haven't gotten the graphs working yet but I'll have to try that next.

I too have been playing with this.

Lots of plugins available to do all sort of interesting stuff, like automatically putting my instruments into night mode at night

Not the weekend but....

Sailed Jonquil back to Whitianga Tuesday/Wednesday.

Predictwind said we would be motoring all the way but we sailed almost all the way (used 20 litres of fuel)

Left Auckland at 3pm Tuesday, got to Port Charles at 1am, left there at 7am, home 1:30pm, Sailed in the local race at 5pm. She's a little beauty and deceptively fast.att.iqxs5DiDpLyjsD_7pgEyiMWUbu4TqOriAfgTOAHJId4.thumb.jpeg.dac23d592581e15b2edbe2a21a5998af.jpegatt.DewDOIFkQYq1uprS2l3eZwepdtxNMynTVFRXYf5pb-8.thumb.jpeg.7b3b797374573511f727cbff31dad697.jpegatt.f7ADw8j4HNfYi4AmlyKG78aGvyO9LtZC5GxT7ToRzJs.thumb.jpeg.e2c34a44a4a223e6ecc5ed0f08f28803.jpeg

Wow classics are growing everywhere, in Whitianga even the Lotus has a bowsprit... Be interested in your comparison to the Dragon. I recall her well at the Pardeys and later with Dan

Lovely weather for those that went to the combined squadron weekend / Ponsonby/ Kawau event , it was great to see almost every crew swimming after Saturdays race.

Before and after...

Whittled away at a nice straight seasoned teak plank, ending up with nice looking set of companion way boards.., to replace the white ones which never looked pleasing.

What oil did you use? looks fantastic!

Starbrite Teak oil there, and I do use quite a bit, but I also use run of the mill Tung oil also.

First coat diluted 50% with turps...

oils are not a long lasting solution as it then needs a light reapply every couple of months... easy done and less work than sanding and multi coat varnish every couple of years.

Sheltered it lasts much longer, wet sanding with 1200 grit and 50% diluted on interior work, results in the smoothest finish, and the sanding dust fills small cavities. Wet sanding with 220 grit works good on exterior also, especially on cracked end grain.
