floatsome 0
Finally, after some upstarts in their LV AC yachts stole our harbour, the 70th Arch Logan will be sailed next Saturday at 1pm. The race area will be in the vicinity of Okahu bay, Beam Rock etc and at least 10 Boats expected with the hope of a couple more make an appearance. Logan Fever was most evident today with 8 boats showing up at the PCC Vintage and vets race so come saturday it will be all on. Favourites would have to be Mach One, Matara and Matapan. Marksmen and the recently arrived Cooky on Mystery will want to have something to say about that though! Best vantage points if you are not in a boat will be on North Head (where no doubt Class Stalwart Owen Reid will be based to provide expert comment) or Orakei Wharf. I am forecasting a 15 knot SW with a chance of an afternoon sea breeze.. Cheers Hamish Marquita M44
