Atom Ant 0
My Silva Sea Data display is poked. It filled up with water and it doesn't go anymore. Pity as it was a good instrument. Did just speed/depth. Last year I replaced the speed transducer and a few years ago I replaced the little interface box that goes between the depth transducer and the display. Does anyone have a display unit they wish to sell? I ask as I doubt it is possible to fix this. Will post this up in techie stuff too just in case.
Gappy 9
AA is it a black and yellow display or one of the newer grey ones?
Atom Ant 0
It is black plastic with a yellow rubber gasket. Is that description helpful? I can post up a photo if it helps. It's probably around 10 years old minimum.
ScarecrowR31 8
Hi AA I m opposite, looking for the transducers. If you have no joy and decide to replace I would be interested in yours if you are going to flick them.
Atom Ant 0
Will let you know SB. If I do have to replace I can still use the speed transducer, but I'd have to replace the depth and interface box thingy. Have to say that Kiwi yachting are being real good buggers, but it's not a case of being too tight to spend the money, it's more a case of not having it to spend.
