Atom Ant 0
Ok cool. What's a dipthong?
Grinna 2
It's actually a diphthong (note the extra h) and it refers to a pair of vowels used together .... e.g. heaven or weapon
Atom Ant 0
Thanks Grinna, And here I was thinking I was missing out on knowing something useful

ballystick 72
He didn't chop up Ballistic, Murray Ross was that designer and called Ballistic a Ross 30 Sport
dogzballz 0
The owners son inlaw is doing the work he used to be with southern ocean,Bakewell-White is doing the drawing, definitely a brett fin & bulb, nip & tuck to the extreme.
white tornado 1
I must admit to some mystification. I am the owner of the boat in question, Cadibarra 6. I do not have a son in law, or a daughter. Yes, the guys doing a good job of rebuilding it are ex Southern Ocean. Yes, I am, with Bally Stick, the former part owner of Ballistic, but we did not modify it at all. Odd how these totally wrong stories get out there. Any way, looking forward to launch, Christmas?, and challenging the members of the Royal Beach Road Yacht Club.. Cheers,
ballystick 72
Some more progress has occurred - looking good. Twin rudders in place, vacuum infusion happening, the keel is an unusual shape but I'm not a keel designer.

waikiore 398
I like the colour, those tones seem to work on TGA boats, look forward to seeing her in the coastal, have to keep the owner off the trapeze though! He's done a few miles dangling from a wire I believe.
ballystick 72
Yes, he has a fondness for dangling off trapezes, nomex, carbon, titanium and more carbon!! It may not be sorted for the Coastal though.
Guest
What a makeover. Wow. She looks like a rocket ship and nothing like the $10,000 oddball that sat at pine harbour all those years ago. Well done
