curt 1
Hey guys, Does anyone know of a good marine surveyor in the auckland area. Looking at a 36ft GRP yacht that needs a good check over before I put my hard earned into her. Cheers in advance.

ab1974 1
A boat that you want that comes through a survey is good too!
broadoak 0
Harry Jorgensen was great as well. He recently did a survey for us. We were more than happy with the surveyor, the communication and the price. Good luck
smithy09 50
Used both Mike and Ray. Both are excellent!
mountie 0
An important point is that an experienced marine surveyor does his best, but doesn't have x-ray eyes. Professional surveyors carry expensive insurance, to try to provide a buffer in the instances when a purchaser points a finger at the surveyor for missed defects. The Consumer protection act resulted in a reluctance for nearly all excellent boatbuilders of recent times to move into the business of survey. Th average age of an NZ marine surveyor, is now 69. I wonder why. (Not).
