Guest
I've been asked to set up a separate forum for technical issues (I vote Wheels to run it). What do you all think? Or just leave the status Quo? I'd probably drop Aussie talk as it's only getting moderate to low traffic. Yes or No?
smithy09 50
Yes from me. Sounds like a good forum. Probably get more traffic than Aussie talk.

Murky 3
There is no-one in the world better qualified than Wheels. The archiving or improved search function would be pretty critical though - some of the best topics have already done a couple or three rounds but are difficult-to-impossible to access now. Some of the thread drift goes into other relevant topics - maybe Wheels could encourage people to kick off a new appropriately-titled thread on those occasions.
Guest
Great idea - whats the opportunity to post the links to topics like antifoul etc etc. to kick it off?
wheels 544
Yikes! so did I get pushed forward or did the group take a step back ps, with a no drift rule. Ummm guys......Ain't I the worst culprit. Reminds me of this story. There was this guy was tal......oops there see?!!? Seriouse side, yeah that's OK with me. Although unless Squid has a specific idea of making the the particular topic Forum different, I don't really see why it would need anyone to "head it". would it not just take care of itself?? I know just enough to be dangerous, but I don't knowit all. In fact what makes me look smarter than the average Bear is that I just don't get involved in a a discussion if I don't know much about it. Keeping ones mouth shut makes one look more educated than one is, rather than opening ones mouth and proving you are not. (my version of the famous quote) Although one point I maybe more qualified than most here is time. I can hunt through old posts and try and find old discussions and info, plus I have a lot of info buried somewhere myself.
Guest
Ok, Later today I will open Tech Talk, somewhere we have all the links so I will make them the first post, then we'll see where it goes. I was just giving Wheels a hard time, though in reality we have never really needed moderators, the amount of traffic is now getting to where I will need sone of that kind of help - It's taking too much time to read everything - I suppose that's a good thing.
