Scubash 0
Ok these are the photo's trying to get her out of the water and into the shed: Yeah that obviously was not a good idea. Had no idea what I was doing, but NZ Rigging came and sorted me out!

Scubash 0
And a few removing the deck... Ok bed time as I must be at boat at 8am tomorrow for the Commodores Cup - Te Kouma. Hope you enjoy!
Scubash 0
And we have separation of cabin top from hull! Hmmm really liking the added head room....should an extention be added? It is unbelievable how once you start with one thing it trickles to 50 billion other things. How do you ever know when to stop?? When I am finished, this definitely will not be the same boat anymore...
Island Time 1,227
Great Progress!! Hmm, size of the job - Ha told you so! You'll have a "new" boat when you are finished!

Black Panther 1,581
Haha I was wondering of the teak was worn out or whether water had made it into the ply and rot was happening?
RushMan 31
Haha I was wondering of the teak was worn out or whether water had made it into the ply and rot was happening? It was the wrong colour
Island Time 1,227
Both David. Inside showed water ingress, outside, worn out and leaking...
Scubash 0
Removed toilet to reduce weight...girls will be given a funnel... ...ok maybe a bucket will be easier! Maybe I should keep toilet and put it in the stern to have a great view and to keep the stench out of the boat! ...well maybe it should be on the cockpit floor so we don't have any accidents of crew falling overboard! Port side practically all cleared... new layout for interior of boat...
waikiore 398
Wow airconditioned, got rid of the teak on mine before it caused more issues, never regretted it - that's four Townsons I have improved that way. Your ship will end up happier lighter drier, teak decks are like anodes always slowly disintegrating... Plus in Mooloolaba will be a lot cooler under foot

Guest
Having seen my boat in that exact state at Xmas I'll be interested to see how long that smile lasts Now the irritating part starts.... but it is nice having the end of day shower after seeing more new stuff arrive back in the beast that day. Looks like your hull is like mine, built like the proverbial brick outhouse Now off to hopefully finish my galley today. The fiddly arse bloody things they are. Guest
Did you finish your galley? I wanna see!Nope, I forgot I had to make a door for the house. The frecking house project is sucking up too much time but it's oh so close now, we may even finally get a working kitchen later this week, haven't had one since Xmas. The boats one is 80% done even if all hot glued together to make sure it all fits nice 1st. I'll give you a tinkle and pop around for beer and butchers at my messes... being the house and the boat

You'll just have to buddy up with me in 2018! Well the misses will be happy to have a working kitchen finally! Hot glue everything together first? really? is that how its done? Cabin top came off this morning...Man o man she really looks massive and roomy now with no cabin top! grrr had bad news on my car...$150....frustrated.... so came home to do house chores and to make some lunch. After lunch back to the boat to get her all cleaned up for sanding the interior. Oh joy! Gonna be just me all week cleaning her and sanding her... gonna take ages as all done by hand! Anyone got some extra time on their hands willing to help? Beer will be given on the job!
