Any idea on transport cost?

Hi John,

We (Boat Haulage Ltd ) would do that for $2700 + GST.(Backload)

Good to hear good reports about others, but we still do ten times the movements and have the specialised gear to suit every boat. Give us a try - or at least a chance to quote.

Cheers

Pete

For what it is worth, Boat Haulage were the guys who packed up my boat (SR26) and shipped to Melbourne (onto Adelaide) for me .

Their work excellent and happy to give recommendation

I've always used boat haulage for my boats. They have proven themselves to be very good. At Southern Spars we tend to view them as the low risk, safe bet . You wouldn't believe some of the spots they can get a truck into.

$2700+gst sounds like a pretty good rate.

Here's their most recent efforts with my boat:

Boat haulage also have a great reputation and I was on their backload list as well. My endorsement of Exclusive was more due to the luck that I called them as they were on the spot and were prepared to throw boat on the truck in the spot without knowing me from a bar of soap. And turned up safe the next day

We used Exclusive Boat Haulage to bring our Lotus 1280 with a draft of 2.4 metres down from Gulf Harbour to Mana recently. They were absolutely amazing, took great care despite the draft being reasonable. It cost $3600 including Pilot Vehicle, insurance GST the works. Their equipment is very new and in pristine condition. JJ and Shelley were very accommodating and easy to work with. I can't speak highly enough of them, so we are spollt for choice having 2 fantastic firms available to us.
