  2. 148 entries so far We are looking at splitting the Baltic 4 division into two as it’s becoming so popular, (probably on length as it’s a general handicap division) Plus if we don’t get a few more entries for PIC Cruising the entrants will be merged into another division of their choice

  3. We should be so lucky up North. that our Sea Lions stick to water and the occasional dock. Down in Dunedin they've taken to trying out for the local kids soccer teams...

  4. NZTA allows a max width of 11 m, so 8m is no problem. The tri would sit on a standard low loader with a cradle. Need all the relevant permits, pilot vehicles, permissible routes etc but nothing that has not been done 000's times before. I am sure Pete at Boat Haulage would have all the answers, and similarly any of the house movers. I know of a 14m x 7m cat moved from the back of Hunua to Maraetai by a house mover without a problem.

  5. We had out topsides painted with brush and tipping. You need to have frigging amazing eye site and be sitting in your dinghy 1 foot away staring at the hull to see its not a spray finish. Paying a lot of $$$ to improve the look of the finish form 5 ft to 1 foot...

  7. I think the trimaran would be too wide for Milford. Probably wouldn't squeeze through the pedestrian bridge.

  8. Ours was rolled and rolled ( 2nd dry roller instead of tipping). Way cheaper ( no scaffolding, no tenting) andd I'm super happy with the result

  9. Did VHB tape around the window opening and a ton of masking tape (maybe 50-60mm wide) around the outline of the outer window. Hot glued a couple of small blocks of wood on top of the masking tape along the bottom of the window so I had something to rest it on and get it lined up (was doing it singlehanded). Spread the MS35 liberally on the cabin side between the VHB tape and the masking tape making sure all the cabin side was well covered. Then just carefully pushed the window on and pressed it down from centre out to the edges to make sure VHB had grabbed and some squeeze out
