  1. What about an app called “todays pillock “ you could upload the pillock of the day and other app users could keep an eye out and apply pressure to said pillock if they continue to be a pillock

  2. The fact that executive level management have managed to convince society that in "order to get the best you have to pay top dollar" while they laugh all the way to the bank with millions in salaries, bonuses, stock options, golden parachutes, etc, despite their companies doing terribly is one of the great cons of the modern era.

  4. If we are not prepared to accept mandatory education (and ergo licencing), the boating community in its many forms needs to step up and apply strong, consistent social pressure to improve on-water behaviour.

  5. I doubt if many CG volunteers would want to be involved in enforcement - it's not what they signed up for so unless you want to turn the organisation on it's head and also write a huge cheque... it's a no go.

  6. Our boat Halo, a Whiting 29, during the RPNYC Commodore’s and Ambassadors Race on 30th April. Eduardo was on the bow setting up the spinnaker before we rounded the top mark at Korokoro. Mel from Latitude 41 South Photography was on the support boat getting some great action shots. We had a good race coming third on corrected time out of 24 boats. 7. Heres an update, the winner Harry Dodson and his team went to Long Beach for the Seawanhaka Cup https://www.sail-world.com/news/249916/Seawanhaka-International-Challenge-Cup-overall I'd say that was a pretty damn fine showing from the RNZYS and shows the quality of our local sailors For inquiring minds the Stewart 34 team had a pretty good go at the MRX finals, we were the only boat to take guns from Harry and we finished second. The winning team was a cut above everyone and fully deserved the trip to Long Beach
