  1. thank you all very much, it took me 5 days to get to weellington, a stopover in napier for one night, the whole trip was perfect. only 35 miles before arriving at castle point I had a 3 meter wave and 40 knots of wind, I arrived at castle point at 6 in the morning and hid there for 2 hours until it calmed down a bit, then straight to pallisier cape and cook strait, and make it to wellington just 3 hours before strong south wind. thank you all for your time and help.

This season Richmond Yacht Club, in association with the Buckland's Beach Yacht Club, the Ponsonby Cruising Club and Devonport Yacht Club will once again be the host club for this summers single handed series. The opening event will be with the Ponsonby Cruising Club on the 8th and 9th October. More details will follow. Come and join in the fun. We also have a new two handed regatta weekend planned for March which will incorporate our Route 66, then to Great Barrier and back to Auckland. Three days of racing and two great stop-overs, with great prizes.

  5. I've recently purchased a steel hull powercat, which is currently moored in Motueka, NZ. I'm looking for an experienced skipper to guide the delivery to Auckland. Some details: Length: 13m Beam: 7m Engines: Twin inboard 120hp Ford diesel engines Fuel capacity: 1200 liters, split between two tanks - 600l per tank/engine The vessel is around 40 years old Photo attached The boat is fully operational, but her surveyed operating limits are "enclosed waters".
