  1. Will do. Apparently he made some fine boats in his sober moments. I know. I got one.
  2. Might have got my wires crossed somewhere i think😂
  3. Your coming out at Bucks? Graingers Pt hardstand? I'm on the haul out team there so likely to see you sometime. If thats right do you have a date to come out yet?
  4. Could be interested in the foils if you changing up.
  5. I may be after parts for a furler b. Foils specifically. If anyone has any, or has contacts, appreciate a point in the right direction.
  6. Cheers. Yep, three of us got her mast out and tidied up. I've just been in touch with John Bennet at Sparloft. Hope to see him tomorrow but still looking at all options, thanks.
  7. Dismasted a few weeks ago. Looking for a section (full replacement of 13.7m, or partial part to scarf in) of what I'm told is 5 and 1/2 Barverstock mast which is no longer manufactured. Has anyone had experience in repairs of Mast? Awaiting on insurance but if they accept will only go to partially fund repair/replace.
  8. Leakingvalve. It's on older Force4 tender (who are no longer in business). Are the valves propritory or generic between brands? Are the rubber valve seats (being a 30mm washer) which I've removed, able to be replaced? If so, who stocks them? Cheers
  9. I've gone through a few different tubes of glue. Don't cheapen out and only use one for pvc or hyperlon, whichever your tender is made from.
  10. Very good points, thanks TB. Absolutely hate the mast slap at 2am.
  11. Was told about having them out under the spreaders, so seems the way to go. One question though.... Is the halyard part yoked near the top from two lines, down to one, or are there two separate lines to the cleat on the mast?
  12. Good stuff. Eager to get on to it once the lockdown is over. May have more questions then but thanks to all who responded.
  13. Good stuff, thanks for the comments. Yup, I'm closing in on 60ish, and feeling the need to make life easier on a 32 footer. Who has the set up KM? Local chandler or self sourced?
  14. Thinking about installing for next summer. Id like people's opinion on them. It'll be great for single or short handed sailing (which is likely to be the main use), but is there a down side? I hear a lot about the hoist and drop of the main, and sometimes getting a bit of a tangle. Any thing else? Has anyone installed and thought it not worth the effort, hassle?
  15. Fyi, the valves are pretty easy to remove and service. I just turned the sealing rubber disc over and bingo, good for years more.
  16. Thanks for all the replies. Sorted now
  17. I'm after a valve key to use for a day, tops. Anyone in the Auckland area who can help me out? Please.

  20. Just reading this topic out of pure interest (yeah, right) and read of mixing white vinegar, lemon juice, baking soda and something else..., cantbrecall off top of my head. Mix it up (No idea on ratios) in a milk container, and spread around bilges, and scrub. Anyone got any ideas on ratio or other usefulmideas? Ps: broken fuel line identified and fixed.
  21. Excellent. Thanks. Understood, I think it's a few mm off the stop, so will be my first adjustment, test
