Just so you know it's not an app, just a mobile friendly web page

Use winddan.nz . ALL the nowcasting sites and more in a better format

You should use the perf film to control the resin bleed (adds restriction into the system), and pull the max vacuum you can. If you don't have restriction you can overbleed and get porosity
-
What matting are you using? Are you using perforated release film and peel ply? You won't ever get a mint mould finish from the bag side.

Try McMaster Carr. Online hardware from the US.

Just be careful, by weight and volume the ratios are a bit different because of different densities. Gurit spabond 345 is a good pre thickened adhesive for bonding, not really for coving though.

Reaching struts for the headsails and masthead zeros. Made in NZ

Good reading from the pros here http://www.vacmobiles.com/vacmans-notes.html

You should use the max vac you have available and not turn the pump off or regulate the vac. Control your bleed with the correct perf film if doing wet lam with vac. If infusion control the amount of resin you remove with a Peel ply break between end of lam and vac connection

Pram dinghy similar to an optimist. Includes basic mast and sail. Unfortunately no rudder or centreboard. Missing a bung. Pick up Orakei from Tuesday.

There was one out last Wednesday night at Richmond I think. Painted up like Steinlager 2. Called Steinlager 3

Most common grade would be 80gsm but I'd say 62gsm would do the same job. I assume both are nylon peel ply not another fruitier version of peel ply? Ideally get the stuff with the Red stripe so that you can see where you left it.Remember with nylon peel ply you still need to surface prep. Google 'curse of the nylon peel ply'

Are you talking about storage while racing or when not in use at all? If while racing why not extend the butt end track on the mast down to deck level then the pole sits relatively flush on the deck and the jib can clear it.

Unfortunately not as simple as that with a big crew, but will investigate the bus option

Anyone need a car bought up to Opua after bay week? Ideally Saturday morning of Anniversary weekend, the morning after the last day of bay week. Or alternatively want to drive my car back to Auckland? Just looking to get my cruising crew up to Opua for the delivery cruise back. Went with one way car rental last year to Opua but that was daylight robbery. Of anyone know of any other ideas? Chris

Booboo I've noticed before following you down the fairway that your lower spreaders had a downward bend in them. Potentially the V1s are too short and putting bending into the spreaders that they weren't designed for?
