Occupancy report required, Chamberlain's Bay 05/01/22
chariot replied to aardvarkash10's topic in MarineTalk
That's funny because I was wondering where the hell Oranga Bay was. Always known it as Shark Bay. My daughter always wanted to know why it was called Shark Bay,. Could never think of a good story to tell her. -
Sounds like Bon Accord is very full.
-
That will be good for the bar takings.
-
You will certainly be able to join PYBC. John Bennett may be able to give good advise on pile line setup. Good club and good hardstand facilities.
-
Great Merc was similar yesterday.
-
You could go to the eastern side of Coromandel. Don't know how many at the Mercs, Opito area.
-
I heard that a while ago. Provisioning would be an issue I would think.
-
That boat has done a lot of miles. Don't think the comport level would be too high.
-
Good to hear they found it. Hope not too much damage.
-
That must have just come into force as we were out there only a few weeks ago and no restrictions.
-
A couple of nice Cav 30's on trademe today. Can just see you in 1 of them harrytom. Back to summer cruising.
-
Will keep an eye out for you when your on your way back.
-
Where is everyone heading for their Christmas cruise. Anyone heading for the Mercs I will keep an eye out.
-
Alinghi back in and Burling and Tuke haven't signed on with Dalts yet.
-
Yep, had to do that on my Cav 32. Had a leak in the tank and had to remove engine to get tank out.
-
That design was more like a big version of the R31.
-
Owen Wolley did design a Raven 36 and a few were built but I'm not sure how many. Just looks like a stretched 26.
-
Not sure how it is attached as was like this when we purchased the boat. Was the main reason for buying this particular boat. It is all foam core I think.
-
Feel free. It also adds waterline length when going up hill. Have watched all your youtube clips. Great viewing. The cockpit drains come out at the highest point underneath the scoops.
-
Only ever been around the outside once, that was in a big easterly in our Cav 32. 4 yachts carried on and all the launches turned around and headed back to the BOI. Always go for the gap.
-
I presume you mean the PYBC. I think you will have to become a member to use the facilities and dinghy lockers. There have been several live aboards up around there over the years. Be prepared for a few sleepless nights when you get a good blow from the s/west.
-
Any race results and race reports. Would have been an interesting day and a wet weekend at Great Merc.
-
Project boat. As is where is.
-
Last time I saw Grand Prix for sale I looked at it thought, I wish.

Riada 2 was probably one of his nicest designs IMO.
