I've got a 2005 Beneteau First 40.7 I reckon would meet your criteria. It's been to Fiji twice, my wife and I sail it easily, not sure about 6'4" headroom but 6'2" son wanders around inside no trouble. If you are in Tauranga and interested in having a look to see what one looks like you are welcome to.
To racey a cockpit for me.
Need more open, twin wheel, open transom.
Nice boats. Is yours Northern rebel?

Dont get me wrong I've built and owned timber boats of all makes in the past.
I just want about with space head room, easily sailed, and onky requires a annual AF, wax, buff, basic service...
Been watching a Elliot tourer twin forestay fast cruiser in the bay with much admiration. Got up to take a photo yesterday and it's gone.
The big Dickson boat is nice but wrong internal and cockpit set up.
Joke for the day...
6 out of 7 dwarfs are not happy. 😁

You want a "low maintenance boat" Let me know when you find one of those
High maintenance - timber, Carvel, old, ,
Low Maintenance - fibreglass, epoxy, vinyl ester, new,
No maintenance - a boat parked up / abandoned and left to deteriorate with the owner never doing one bit of maintenance.

Just because I'm bored, and recalled this thread, I measured the headroom. 6 ft 3 in saloon, (1.915m) about 6ft 1 in fwd head and cabin. 1988 Farr Phase 4.....
Bunks are all 2m long.
On a boat 11.97 m on deck, 12.8m overall.
Inches matter when your 6'4". 2M bunk length is great .

No worries.. its just that you are vert vocal for someone new and your posting style seems very familiar. I apologise for any offence
Same could be said for you. No offence.
I don't tip toe around anybody or anything. And I didn't see any rules that said i had to be treated as a week and feeble person before I rose to the ranks of being accepted by forum members who believe they are the forum moderators and can be rude to people on the pretence that they think they are someone else.

You’ve got to be worried about the ongoing viability of ETNZ’s primary sponsorship & support given who they are...
Not really. The oil keeps flowing, Emirates keep going.
Same with Etihad, Qatar.
But the rest are reliant on Govts

What's to prevent u if u get a ban and u use your partners pH and display name and continue posting whilst banned. Nothing.
Matt that should not be allowed and prevented. They are partners and responsible to each other. If one is banned then both are banned. That should act as a more responsible attitude in posting in such situations as each could discipline each other's posts.
What are you not smoking rehab.
I think someone with half a brain would pick up the obvious nuances of one person's posts no matter how many account s.
I'm just pointing out a flaw and how people use data via devices.
I'm happy with the rule.

Any AC involvement?

Here's the real issue. It's not swimming, or boating.

Seriously?
if you’d listened to, or read anything properly, you would know that the police don’t intend to do anything different other than their normal patrols, which are just as much about protecting vacant private property as lockdown compliance. These new “instructions” are actually a result of a new Public Health Order that AB issued yesterday. By doing this, he is able, by his legislated power, to provide the police the authority to enforce this order to stay at home whenever practicable. Ie. they can now ask you to go home, if you don’t, they can now arrest you, fine you, and then drop you home. Previously they couldn’t without declaring that they suspected you have The Wuhan Coronavirus which, as you can imagine, has a far worse set of repercussions.
seriously
Seriously...
What the police say they are doing and what they actually do, as your know, never quite line up. ( Read previous posts in context to mine )
Also what is reported in the presser is not necessarily an accurate assessment of what the police intend to do and actually will do.
If it was Hone pushing the envelope of the law, then they will do nothing except smoke the peace pipe and share joke.
But.. one jet ski idiot and the police have the power to " nail any boaties ass to the wall" even if they are just motoring to a wharf to pick up supplies.
The powers of the police are more powerful than you think and open to interpretation at a individual police officer level, rightly or wrongly.
With current comms confusion I would not be second guessing anything.
-
But seriously...
The policing if boaties will require all police maritime resources and coastguard vessels to be active...
Which means more people on the water being exposed ...
I think they are after the plonkers on hjet skis, kite surfers, fizz boats and wakas with no life jackets..

As a society we have had plenty of chances to show we can be responsible. We fail constantly. We deserve to be locked into our houses and not let out.
By ‘we’ i mean people in general. Not me, not you probably. In fact prob less than 5% of the population, but those knobs will still destroy the potential gains of the lockdown.
Agree, that's where 90% of the laws, reg, and rules come from.
Idiots ruin it for all.

Be interesting to see how they monitor boaties that may be breaking these rules by transiting between points.

Might be an Elliot schooner?
No not that one in KerikeriYC marina. The cabin was low and box like. More a 60s/70s design.
Wish I had taken a photo.

Was it flaming lips or whatever it’s called ? Black with flames at the bow
No a white yacht with a low cabin about 50-60'. That black one with flames I've seen before. It has heavily raked masts
Covid 19 and liveaboards
