[Lotus info]

I'm wondering if anyone lurking here knows how I can find out some info on a Lotus 10.6.

Each boat seems to have a build number plaque - I wonder if someone preserved Lotus Yachts original records?

Also what's the deal with so called MkII models? They appear to be open transom and 7/8th rig (though some MKI have this too). Anything else like rig height, draft or ballast differ from MkI model? When was the MkII first built? Sailboat Data site lists the MkI, but sadly nothing for MkII. Was there ever a plan view drawing (ie layout) or sailplan drawing in circulation?

Had a quick read through Alan Wright's book but does not go in to a lot of model specific detail.

Love to find out anything more I can, as bit of a nerd for details 😉

Thanks Jono, I think you nailed it. Cabin top suggests it likely an early 352 or 372, from mid 80s.

Hey All,

Hoping someone can identify design of this old cruiser/racer. Looks to be 80s vintage, somewhere in 34-38 foot range. Seems to be a glass production boat, judging by molded cabin top and cockpit.

Spotted at little shoal bay, Auckland.
