A quick look at the results shows the Farrier Tris did well on leg one, but there are long stretches of the course where there will be no wind at all and lots of current. A fun one to watch.

If you want to go cheap, I have done plenty of miles with zero electronics, never felt disadvantaged or unsafe.So there's the bottom line. Add a phone with a GPS and you're living in luxury.
