Cool vid. hat's a deep reef in the Orma.

I did! My post is on a corner and gets used by a few people. I've put a padlock on it now - shame as now the dog walkers have nothing to wash the poo off the pontoons with now...
-
I thought it was just me that was being grumpy about this! F&*k1ng hate it and it's a regular thing I add to the survey. I have seen owners let their dogs pee all over the hosepipes & crap on the bottom of the posts. When I see it I have a go at them and they wonder what is wrong with me.

I used to have a gennaker furler on my F27R. One of the ones that has a foam type line - top down furling. Worked well but not kind to the sail so I'd get it made from some heavier cloth.

See you there.

The only reason I am going the ST40 route is because I have a cutout designed for it so I am kinda stuck with that format.
-
Awesome! Thanks for that Matt - I thought it was a dead end. So I'd need a BiData ST40 and the E85001. could be a Trade Me watch list!
-
Thanks for the info - I'm after SOG from an external NMEA source. From what I have found out though it seems like no ST40 or ST50 can display SOG - Raymarine forum. Only the larger ST60's can... I hope this is not the case though.
-
hmm... could this be the place to ask if the good old Raymarine ST40 can be tricked into displaying SOG from a NMEA output?

Yea, he's skipper on a nice yacht based in the Med.

The sails were pretty good from what I recall.. sounds like there are a few issues with rot.
-
Supreme - not as good as the Rocna - imho. bent the tip on one and rendered it useless. I dived on it to figure out what was wrong and it just skipped along the bottom - it was interesting how a slight change in the angle of attack changed things. The rocna has a welded triangular tip over the bent plat plate of the Supreme.

Did the Med with a Spade. Excellent anchor.

Maybe I want a Catamaran, what do you guys think?

This Way UP is a good one to get then. There is plenty of room for a couple of tents on the trams to sleep in and she is hard to get into trouble with. -

The best racing to be had currently is in the 8.5 fleet or the foilers - SL33's. 8.5 info: http://www.multihull.org.nz/85-class/ Fun 8.5 Vid: -
Have any been independently scientifically proven to work yet? I thought they were in the magic water homeopathy basket still.

The NZMHYC invites you to the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron, Dinghy Locker Bar 6pm, Tuesday 2nd June for a unique opportunity to hear two of New Zealand’s rising stars speak.
