As predicted Italy was the only option , and likely one of the few wishing to challenge ...

A nice bay to anchor in though fairly shoal, and the last few years we havent been allowed (calerpa) This will not be be an everyman marina ie no berths for your Reactor, there is plenty of demand from those with properties out that side.

🙄I wonder what their workers are being paid to do that .. -
Imagine if you could feed it to dairy cows , replace palm kernel with it..... Actually there are a lot of people making money out of it already -though none have stopped the spread.

Matauwhi Bay , they are universally known as the mudcrabs, and fouling no where near as bad as Opua -
Well with the latest protocol draft for the cup written apparently by Russell Green for the defender Team Dalton and the defending club RNZYS apparently contradicting the deed of gift , time will tell if any US based syndicates will bother coming , Coutts and Ellison will be smiling....

Well that "word" is rather a decade out of date, if you check out the actual people involved in that organisation

And now Alinghi out , who does want to play??

The carefully worded press release praising each other from Burling and Dalton has been somewhat washed away by Daltons more recent public comments. Yes the Royal Yacht squadron has done a neat pivot away from Ineos and backed Bens Athena racing as their team. Who really is interested in the cup ? The racing was not of top quality last year (the womens was of far better quality for those that got to see it) I hope the Italians get the venue they have stuck with it all along and are worthy recipients

As predicted AC38 in trouble, Auckland would have been super- though I agree no public government funds should be handed to a private racing team with all the shares held by one person . Perhaps the government should have backed the Councils money towards putting on the event , rather than topping up the coffers of the defender. Still its all moot now with the challenger of record pulling out and unlikely to be held in the next best place -The Solent . Only Italy and the Arabs now left in the mix for Dalts to sell to....

Yes a small multihull at Northcote i think, the Whangaparaoa one was indeed strange , what kind of boat? why was he trying to get out to his wife at midnight on that lee shore?
-
Ive certainly noticed that
-
Sorry actually 4%, might have to follow Priscillas lead
-
I got 3%, maybe we should all sell and just take shares in the MRX fleet, apart from cruising they do provide good sailing.

This was broadcast about 15 years ago , mainly month by month or if you feel like donating large to Eke Panuku's coffers a lease can be purchased $$$$$$$$$

Good on them, I wish them well Conrad has proved that he has what it takes, getting corporate funds locally may prove a challenge though in the current NZ depression.

The total catch for this area remains unchanged so does that mean the Barrier crays will get hammered? -

I wonder if the launch had Lithium ? Looks as if started in the engine area and this follows other incidents where the BMS failed in NZ and offshore.
