From Arcona's web on the 460 model: It follows, it seems, that not even the highest CE Category ask for watertight bulkheads. /Martin

But also one of the most pleasing ways to go somewhere. Btw, it is not uncommon for me to out-pace sailboats motoring -- even to windward. /Martin

This is supposed to be a sailing forum and all you discuss is motors of various types... /Martin

Replace rather than repair. This may be of interest: https://www.reflectometrist.eu/doc/Blockfriction.pdf My 2 cents... /Martin

This video should be of interest: There is no mentioning of its creator Collin Forbes who filmed it while crewing on Burton Cutter. His copyright was not respected when Volvo (I think) uploaded this video version on youtube. /Martin

We are all for contrasts now, aren't we? I mean J's, dinghy around Tasmania's NE corner and now Greenland. /Martin

Maybe not so neat but normal boats participating in a popular 'round some island' race on the Swedish west coast. Filmed by an amateur overlooking a narrow straight between two islands. The only unusual thing is the wind direction. /Martin

Marinas in the Stockholm area are a bit odd by Swedish standards as they are mostly 'gated communities' -- members/customers access only. Locked gates, barbed wire... There are a few exceptions. The marina hosting my boat is one of them but not located in Stockholm but some 20 km to the south-east as the crow flies: https://www.ksss.se/en/ksss-harbors/saltsjobaden/ The train ride there is partially very nice but a major track maintenance project means there is no train now. Replacement buses are not as nice as roads and tracks are routed differently. Within walking distance from down-town

Who have you been in contact with in Sweden? The Swedish contact listed here? https://silvasweden.com/pages/customer-service I do notice the Stockholm office lies withing walking distance from where I live but I would wait with contacting them. Right now we are in the middle of summer vacation in Sweden so staffing may be a bit sparse. If manufacturing is in Asia it is less likely they have any southern zone specimens in Sweden. (me guessing) /Martin (been out sailing today (Friday))
