How many would sail solo with the hatch open like that? Why wasn't his VHF charged?

Re sea level rise, we don't want bs "balance" we want truth and facts.
Here's 2 facts:
Fact 1: During the last deglaciation sea level rose 10 cm per year for 200 years.
Fact 2: The rate of temp and CO2 increase now is faster than when that happened.
Go and look it up on a science website instead of #climatedenier websites because I won't be wasting my time again with #climatedeniers who get their "facts" from the Murdoch press and that wonderfully intelligent scientist Don Trump.

It was a "gift" of public land to a few enthusiasts for a specific purpose and with limitiations (ie not to be sold). Might be time for the land to go back to the people. I'm predicting a lawyer's picnic.

Remind me which government is not paying cops, teachers, not maintaining cities, not providing healthcare, happy for police to shoot you if you're the wrong colour, locks up children for life etc etc? BTW doing as I suggest is far from standing idly by.

erice the beloved leader has offered unconditional talks. The other beloved leader has refused. Don't believe everything you read in the Murdoch dominated news. Speaking of rogue states, my guess is the the US Empire has flouted many many more UN resolutions than probably any other nation on earth. That would be a nice little research project for someone.

Speaking of will they learn, seems not. I was actually reading about USS Vincennes last night in Robert Fisk's book 'The Great War for Civilization'.
Combine trigger happy morons (Captain Will Rogers III) with poor training and "failing to reset his signaling equipment" and trying 23 times while pressing the wrong button (Scott Lustig) you either kill people, get yourselves killed or start wars.
Best solution is mutual disarmament and agreed inspections.

That's not right at all. You should be able to see ALL the rope to where it connects to the chain. There could be a snag. When was it last serviced? Talked to harbour master?

A yacht I'm looking at buying has the main SSB box right next tot he Raymarine Course Computer. Would having them this close cause issues?
Should those wires be attached above so they don't flop around?

Morse decoder tree was cool. Thanks. It could be slightly improved for newbie by mentioning spaces. Years ago I had some computer programs to practice with. Learnt some Q codes too.

Ta for VHF info that it turned itself on. Must be a weird model. Mine is ICOM VHF Marine Transceiver IC-M33 and it would be almost impossible for it to turn on by mistake because the on button needs to be depressed into the housing.
