Did a classic launch hit Motuhuie yesterday?

Wasnt me on Lady Margaret John! Yes the classics site is hopeless. Some good reference material on there but not a lot in terms of conversation. Tried to rark it up a bit by suggesting I was going to change Lady Margarets name to Bevan in honour of our mayors mistress but nobody took the bait..

Hopefully if there was an incident it wasnt a major.

I'm supposed to be a moderator there but I can't even get logged on anymore without some giant rigamarole, there's issues.

I heard the name Neriedes( oh god I can't spell motuihie right and that doesn't look right either)reported to me as heard on VHF and have a PM which says the same.

She is a very nice looking 20's or 30's plumb bow boat. I even took photo's of her on easter monday by bean / northern leading. lovely boat , I'm sorry to hear she's had an issue and I hope she'll be repaired, and that the people aboard are unhurt.

Nerieds took on a lot of water, don't know the cause, CG assisted, I think with pumping and then to a nearby beach for grounding.

maybe this link will work? https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10203845935693018&set=ms.10203845935693018.10203845934772995.10203845929372860.10203845921452662.10203845919012601.10203845917972575.bps.a.1968269970621.115605.1359116077&type=1&theater

Thanks for the pics. We saw Lion Foundation coming down past Little Bucks when off she went and to hell with 5kts!!! Understandable when we flicked on the radio to ch16 and heard the "M' word!! A great team effort by the Harbour Master and Coastguard to get there to help save this nice launch.
