erice 732
ouch! might go down and watch powerlessly as my boat tests its mooring
On tilt 0
Yeah I've just been down, you can see where the cleat has ripped out of the foredeck...not good viewing if your own boat is out there rockin an rollin.
madyottie 82
I came to look at the little farrier tri on the hardstand, this could put me off moored boats!
erice 732
the piedy is not looking good on the rocks the piver is over on the sandy beach and doesn't look too bad but the worst is the restored launch, completely sunk after battering the wall outside the akarana club house and by the looks of the rib tied behind dambo's old boat colin? has chosen to stay aboard anf ride it out almost exactly a year since this last happened and when it did the cubic farrier was blown over and broke? its mast. so i'd be a bit worried about that tt720 on the trailer side on to the wind and with the tow hitch jacked up and lifting the centre of pressure... erice 732
someone said the owner had spent the last 2 years restoring her
madyottie 82
I didn't spot the launch. Kids dragged me into tarltons so will have a look on the way out
Island Time 1,234
Pretty tough. Moorings are no place to skimp on equipment or maintenance.
Dambo 44
Colin eh? Mad bugger - I can't think of anything worse than sitting in my old spencer on it's mooring in Okahu bay. I used to just sit at home and reread my insurance policy...
smithy09 50
Gotta feel for the launch owner. Poor bugger.
