We have had the immense pleasure of sailing her for the last 25 years for many thousands of miles around the Mercury Islands , Great Barrier , Bay of Islands , Cavalli’s and up as far as Doubtless Bay. She sails well, loves the light winds under full sail and in heavy weather, 25 Knots plus, dressed with her blade sail and two reefs in the main, she just trucks along. Every seven years we had the hull anti-foul scraped back and two coats of epoxy applied and then anti-fouled. So far there has been no sign of any osmosis, neither there should be as she was built by Lotus Yachts and 23rd out of the mould. We have replaced the standing rigging and safety lines. And in November 2012 we replaced the 20 HP Bukh engine and sail drive with a new 30 HP Beta and new sail drive with a Kiwi prop feathering propeller. The freezer is electric Isotherm. LPG Gas Two burner Hob and oven, U shaped Galley. Most lights changed to LED. Plenty of Storage space plus huge cockpit locker and walk through transom. She can sleep seven at a pinch. Best for two to three adults for eight to ten days, four adults three to five days. Sadly it's now time for us to let her go as we have our sights set on a larger yacht for extended time on the water. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

We bought our boat three years too early but were able to work out a deal that was good for both of us and had three years sailing we would have missed otherwise.
