Dr Dave 5 Posted February 28, 2017 Share Posted February 28, 2017 It was suggested that I put this in the cruising forum also Unfortunately the Va'Vau race is not going ahead however we are still running "Dr Dave's Offshore Medical Course" on Saturday 22 April The link is here - http://rayc.co.nz/product/drdave Dr Dave Austin will be leading a course at RAYC* on Saturday 22nd April 2017 that will cover the use of the YNZ first aid kits. Completion of this course will be accepted by RAYC for the 2018 Auckland Noumea Yacht Race. At present this course will not be recognised for events overseas. The course is limited to 40 students. The course will cover: Sea Sickness Minor wounds Major Trauma Major wounds and closure techniques Fractures and dislocations Burns, Infection – skin, systemic Antibiotics Intramuscular injections The course will take place at the following location:Framecad99 Felton Matthew AveSt Johns 1072 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
