Island Time 1,215
Our BC fee is about 6k pa. That's including building insurance, rubbish collection and building maintenance, etc Others vary. I think it's pretty reasonable. Total cost would be circa 11K pa, incl 15m berth, rates, and all fees.
Black Panther 1,581
IT s example is pretty good less if you can handle a 12 m berth. We have had buyers from the city buy then rent both the berth and the apartment with expectation that they would move up here in 5 yrs or so on retirement. The big hold up for many is the commuting time which I u understand. A bit easier if you work inner city and can ferry. I know one boat owner has the cheapest leasehold tiny shitbox apartment he can find and a boat at GH. Sleeps 4 nights in the city and works hard. Then ferry to the marina and three nights on the boat.
Black Panther 1,581
Also GH rates (whether renting or buying) have been heading skyward the last 2 years.

(It'll be IT's best month ever). Did I mention GH has better access to cruising grounds and better water for racing than westhaven?
