Tauranga Cup Racing Insurance?

Recommended Posts

I noticed in the NoR's

16. INSURANCE

16.1     It is recommended that each participating boat should be insured with valid marine third-party liability insurance                              with a minimum cover of $1,000,000 per incident or the equivalent.

16.2     Support boats if they wish to enter the marina MUST have insurance as described in 16.1 and a Certificate of                         insurance is to be presented at registration.

A bit overboard for a 7 footer?

How many "P " dads have radio contact with their sons?

14. RADIO COMMUNICATION

Except in an emergency, a boat that is racing shall not make voice or data transmissions and shall not receive voice or data communication that is not available to all boats. This restriction also applies to mobile telephones. [DP]

Maybe I am just old fashion (oops a "Boomer") what happened to semaphone?

It was the banned I-Punkt? guy that used to follow his son up the track with one red sleeve and one green. He’d hold up one or the other so the brat would go the right way
